To the miners of the Nadiya coal mine

Dear miners, you have my full solidarity as a former miner and member of the Coordination Group and its main coordinator, the International Miners' Coordination. It is an absurdity and a criminal move that you have not yet received your wages for your work. The world's miners are increasingly exploited in the context of the international economic and financial crisis that began in 2018, aggravated by the Corona pandemic. You can be assured of my fullest support in this time of struggle for your future.

At the founding of the International Miners' Coordination at the first International Miners' Conference, we stated: "Today, it is less and less possible to assert your interests against the international mining monopolies if you are isolated from each other and locally restricted. What we need is the unity of workers worldwide!"Extract from the founding resolution In our programme of struggle of the International Miners' Coordination it says: "... The 1st International Miners' Conference 2013 in Arequipa, Peru, with representatives from 25 countries from four continents, was a very important step towards the unification of miners all over the world. It was guided by the principle that we miners, together with our families, must cooperate internationally and coordinate our struggles if we want to become a superior force against the international mining monopolies and their governments. ... There are more than 20 million miners worldwide who extract and win the treasures of the soil under hard and dangerous conditions, but their living conditions are very poor. ... "Excerpts from the struggle programme Accordingly, I ask you how we can support you further and invite you to become part of our international miners' coordination! In 2022 the 3rd International Miners' Conference will take place, and we would like to invite you to prepare and participate in it today. We will make your situation and struggle internationally known on our homepage. Please write to us about the further course of events so that we can inform the miners of the world about your situation and organise further support.
Good luck in your struggle and strike!
With fighting and solidary greetings and Glück Auf (German miners' greeting)!
