Dear miners and family members of Larco We send you our greetings and wish you every success with your Oxitag march and the struggle for jobs and company housing. You continue to have the fullest solidarity of the miners worldwide in your struggle and we want to express our protest against this criminal approach of the government. I myself worked 35 years underground in the German coal industry.
I continue to trust in the great solidarity with you and your families among the Greek population. We have also experienced similar solidarity in Germany. This shows that it is not true how politicians and companies want to make us believe that we are alone. We will continue to report on your struggle on our website www.minersconference.org and call for solidarity with you and your unions. Against these international energy and mining monopolies and their subservient governments, we can only become a permanently superior force worldwide together with our families. That is why we have joined together in the International Miners' Coordination. We promote the common international struggle of the miners. For this purpose, our 3rd International Miners' Conference Thuringia/Germany will take place from 31.8.2023 to 3.9.2023. We are united with you in opposing the imperialist war in Ukraine. We demand: Stop the Russian bombings and the invasion of troops. The miners worldwide do not want an imperialist war, in this regard our international struggle programme says: "We fight for the unity of the miners. We oppose and fight against imperialist wars. We are against wars of aggression of the imperialists to secure their influence over natural resources and to exert influence over numerous countries and regions. Against the sell-out of national wealth to the imperialist monopolies. We are fighting for world peace." If you send us reports and maybe photos, we will publish them too.
