Letter of solidarity to the striking miners of Alabama/USA

Dear colleagues We have heard that you have been on strike since Thursday. Despite the Corona crisis, you are waging a courageous struggle for your wages, workers' rights, life, dignity and health. You have our fullest solidarity in your strike. We miners stand with you internationally and wish your struggle every success! At the 2nd International Miners' Conference in February 2017 in Ramagundam/India, we adopted a joint International Struggle Program. It states,

".... that we miners, together with our families, must cooperate internationally and coordinate our struggles if we are to become a superior force in the face of the international mining monopolies and their governments." Your struggle lines up vividly with this. Stay persistent and strong! We are currently preparing the 3rd International Miners Conference to be held in Germany in 2023. For this we invite you during the preparation and to the conference quite cordially to report about your struggle experiences, because they are an important part of the worldwide miners' movement and the common consciousness, everybody will be able to learn from it. Therefore, I also urge you, join the International Miners' Coordination. Workers must stand together internationally. United, we over 20 million miners are an invincible force. We make your situation and your struggle known among miners worldwide. Please keep us informed of the progress of your struggle so that the miners of the world know how you are doing. Please let us know how we can continue to support you. With militant and solidary greetings Andreas Tadysiak, main coordinator of the International Miners Coordination
