Declaration of solidarity to the striking dockworkers

Dear colleagues, We have learnt about your strike for every job and training place at Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG. It is unacceptable that a "secret contract" is being used to decide on your colleagues. On behalf of the International Miners' Coordination, I would like to express our solidarity with your strike. At the 3rd International Miners' Conference, the solidarity between dockers and miners was demonstrated.
Among other things, you load the raw materials in the harbours that miners worldwide extract from the earth. We also have some of the same opponents (international companies). That is why your struggle is particularly close to our hearts. In view of the environmental catastrophe that has begun, the current threat of world war and the many other crises in the world, the III. International Miners' Conference, the need for the international unification of workers in the world became clear. Our International Programme of Struggle states: "What we need is the unity of workers worldwide!"
We would be delighted if you would keep us informed about your strike. We will report on your strike on our homepage www.minersconference.org and inform the miners around the world about it.
